Hockey ACT commenced a junior competition review in October 2023 to help examine the trends of current junior participation and how our competitions can be conducted into the future to ensure that our membership continues to renew and revitalise into the future.

Following yesterday's win over reigning premiers our Canberra Chill women's team have stormed into their first open national grand final since 2004! Even better the grand final will be played today in front of a home crowd at 3:30pm today, Sunday 26 November, at the National Hockey Centre.
The Canberra Chill women find themselves in a must win situation against Hockey Club Melbourne this Friday night needing to secure points to clinch a place in the Hockey One Finals in Canberra 25-26 November, despite having secured wins in four of their five matches this season.
The Canberra Chill women can take a giant leap towards qualifying for the Hockey One finals later this month in Canberra with a win over the Brisbane Blaze on Friday night in front of a home crowd at Lyneham. A win this weekend would move the side into second spot on the ladder with just one round remaining.
Hockey ACT are pleased to have been nominated for three CBR Sports Awards in 2023. The awards vary from recognizing on field performance through to its work in the inclusion space and innovation to make sport more accessible to all.
