Hockey ACT Schools Roadshow

30th January – 17th February 2023.

The roadshow is an opportunity to have Hockey ACT bring field hockey to your school through a Free session run by Hockey ACT coaches. Students will be introduced to the sport through drills and skill based games delivered in a fun, inclusive and safe environment. All equipment is provided and sessions can be modified to suit all ages and skill levels.

• Complimentary sessions for Primary Schools
• Targeted at grades 1-4
• 30-60 minute sessions
• Experienced Hockey ACT coaches delivering the program
• All equipment provided

The aim of the sessions is to provide a fun introduction to hockey as well as teaching the basic skills of hockey such as ball control, dribbling and passing. The participants will have the opportunity to further develop their skills through the Hookin2Hockey pathway at a local club in the schools area following the Roadshow.
