About Walking Hockey
Walking Hockey is a modified version of traditional hockey, as participants must walk, the game is more accessible and inclusive for all. The 5-a-side game is also modified with a softer ball, smaller field and simpler rules to increase engagement and enjoyment of the game. It will be played on the outdoor water based pitch or in the indoor hockey stadium.
Who can play?
Walking Hockey is perfect for players who are looking for a less physically demanding version of hockey, but still enjoy showing off their skills and being involved in a team and social aspect. It is also perfect for players who are brand new to hockey and may be more comfortable in a less competitive format.
