APRIL SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

National Hockey Centre, Lyneham

Ages 5 – 12: Holiday Program (no experience required)

Ages 10 – 15: Chills and Skills Clinic

The Hockey ACT School Holiday Program provides new and existing participants with the essential skills of Hockey delivered in a fun and safe environment where children are able to participate, engage and make new friends. Our coaches are able to adjust certain aspects to better suit the individual and different skill levels making it the perfect opportunity to try hockey or practice your skills before the Winter season!

ARLY BIRD REGISTRATION OPTIONS

• 4 Days | 9am to 3.30pm | $350

• Single Day | 9am - 3.30pm | $95

*All Full day options include lunch & a snack.

• Half Day | 9am to 12pm OR 12.30pm to 3.30pm | $60

*All half day options include a snack.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

After signing your child in, they will be divided into smaller groups of similar ages and skill levels. Participants will get the opportunity to play some modified hockey games on both indoor and outdoor hockey fields.

NEW - CHILLS AND SKILLS CLINICS

Specialised Clinics aimed at improving speed, agility, ball skills and creating a better understanding of the game. Sessions will run through the hockey skills as well as goalie specific coaching sessions.

The clinics provide the chance to train and play with Canberra Chill players and learn from elite training techniques. Sessions will be targeted at players with 3+ years of experience who are looking to improve their skills

Clinics will include:

• Structured and enjoyable program for players
• Training insights and resources
• Video sessions showing and analysing Hockey 1 and Pro league games

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Skills Clinics are aimed at existing players that are looking at taking their hockey game to the next level. Clinics will be run by Hockey ACT coaches with guest coaching from Canberra Chill Players. Coach to player ratio are reduced to ensure each player is able to practice their skills and work on acheiving their hockey specific goals.
