Primary Schools Gala Day

The Hockey Albury Wodonga Primary School Gala Day is a great opportunity for students to develop their skills and enjoy a fun day of hockey with other school teams. Schools can enter mixed teams from years 3/4 and/or 5/6. We welcome students of all ages, abilities and skill levels.

• Day: Thursday 10th August 2023
• Time: 9:30am – 2:00pm
• Location: Albury Hockey Centre
• Cost: Free
• Equipment: Provided - for those who don't have their own

Games

• 25 minute games (2 x 10 minute halves with 5 minute half time)
• Full field games
• Modified rules - sent to schools after registration

Teams

• Standard - 11 aside
• Mixed gendered
• 2 divisions: Years 3/4 & Years 5/6
• Goal keepers optional - Must bring own kit if using a goalie

Hockey equipment - provided by HAW if required

• Hockey Sticks
• Hockey balls
• Shinguards
• Training bibs

* All participants must wear a mouthguard and shinguards
