The Annual Chris MacKinnon Memorial Weekend Is back again, and fast approaching!

The Chris MacKinnon Memorial Weekend is an annual Hockey ACT event where the hockey community goes pink to help raise funds for NBCF and awareness for breast cancer research.

Chris MacKinnon Memorial Weekend 2021 Dates:

Friday to Sunday, 13th - 15th August 2021

The Chris MacKinnon Memorial Weekend as many of you know is to help raise funds and create awareness for breast cancer research. This weekend has been running since 2013 in honour of one of the Hockey ACT community Life Members, Chris Mackinnon who sadly lost her breast cancer battle in a January 2013.

Since the event's first year, the Hockey ACT community have managed to raise over $100,000. This is a fantastic effort and we appreciate the support we have received from our community.

This year we are doing this a little differently than previous years. Due to the restrictions of COVID, we will be running a digital donation link for anyone who would like to donate, and an education campaign via our socials. We understand these have been difficult times for everyone and appreciate any donation from our hockey community!
