Come Out & Play Cup

Hockey ACT is partnering with social sports provider Urban Rec to present Come out and Play Cup; a multi sports carnival featuring all your favourite games and activities!

Think your school sports carnival with more fun, better prizes and an afterparty with an incredible 2 hour food and drinks package! The event will take place at the National Hockey centre in Lyneham with all teams participating in the multisport event. Your hosts will take you through the game rules and facilitate round robin games for all teams featuring Hockey, Soccer and Dodgeball and an Olympics where teams will have the opportunity to complete a series of mini challenges to compete for the major prize! The afternoon will be followed by an after-party featuring live music, food and drinks held in the Pickupstix Café and bar at the venue.

Teams will pick a house colour and play against other teams for some great prizes!

After Party

The event will wrap up with an after party at PickupStix Cafe and bar the event will be hosted by Phish and Phreak - Canberra's premier drag company featuring entertainment and drag bingo. The event also includes a 2 hour food and drinks package.

This aims to celebrate pride in the LGBTIQ+ community as well as the wider community to create a better sense of belonging and celebrate and support social connections within the community. To ensure we bring the complete carnival atmosphere, we will have Pick Up Stix Bar Café open, local community organisations in attendance and music to ensure the event is a fun, welcoming and inclusive place for all.
