Bring a friend for the chance to win a 2024 Canberra Chill membership!
Come & Try Days are the perfect introduction into hockey. Open to juniors of all ages and abilities, the Come & Try Days will consist of games and activities for the players, with club information and guidance for the parents.
Trying a new sport can be intimidating - Come & Try aims to provide greater access to the sport of hockey, where all equipment and coaches are provided, in a safe and inclusive environment. Registration and season information is readily available, where potential players can meet with clubs and coaches to help find a team.
Hockey ACT runs two Come & Try events in Canberra:

Additional Information:
- Free BBQ for all junior attendees
- Face painting and activities for children
- All equpiment is provided, no experience necessary
- Plenty of parking available on site
- All abilities welcome, our fields are wheelchair accessible
- Pick Up Stix bar and cafe open in Lyneham for lunch and beverages
- Please wear something comfortable, with enclosed shoes and a hat
