Hockey ACT Life Membership Nominations

Dear Members and HACT Life Members,

Hockey ACT would like to call for nominations for Life Membership of Hockey ACT.

The awarding of Life Membership is the ultimate accolade that the Association can bestow on any member for services to Hockey ACT.

A person may be nominated for Life Membership of Hockey ACT when a nomination is received from and seconded by the Hockey ACT Board, a President from any affiliated Club or Association, an active Committee of the Association, a Life Member of the association or a Hockey ACT staff member.

A nomination has to be made in writing by the nominating group and seconded by another nominating group to the Chief Executive Officer by Friday 17 February 2023. Each nomination must include the attached nomination form and a detailed document that addresses the matters set out below:

(a) that the individual meets at least one of the requirements outlined in 10.3 of the HACT General By-laws;

(b) the individual’s contribution to the Association has been exceptional and beyond what would be normally expected from any individual; and
