If you are thinking about playing hockey, the come & try event is the place to start!

Hockey ACT is holding their annual Come & Try Weekend ahead of the 2024 season to provide Canberra a taste of what the sport can offer.

Northside Come & Try
Saturday 24th February, 2023
National Hockey Centre, Lyneham
9am to 12pm

Southside Come & Try
Sunday 25th February, 2024
Tuggeranong Hockey Park, Greenway
9am to 12pm

The annual come & try event features exciting games and activities for children of all ages, while parents can meet with clubs, coaches and ask questions about all things hockey. Come & try kicks off the annual registration drive, so if hockey has been on your mind, you don’t want to miss this!

All equipment will be provided by Hockey ACT and local clubs. It is recommended to wear comfortable casual clothing.

Pick Up Stix café will be open at the Lyneham event for food and beverages.
