Mental Health Awareness Sessions

Livin For Hockey is launching our accredited Mental Health Awareness sessions. The 3 hour discussion is open to all members of the ACT and NSW hockey community including players, coaches, supporters and officials. The session will provide information tailored to hockey on understanding mental illness, how to spot warning signs, how to manage it and supporting others who are experiencing mental health concerns.

The session is designed for people with any level of experience or knowledge of mental illness and is supported by Hockey ACT. The sessions are free and are provided as part of Livin for Hockey's mission to improve the mental health of everyone in the hockey community.

Livin for Hockey is excited to announce that Irene Clelland will be making her way from Queensland to provide these training sessions. Irene has extensive training in the field and is working hard at putting together a meaningful program

This session will take place at 9am until 12pm on Saturday March 20th 2021. Prior registration is required, please register directly to Pat O’Connor at patrick@livinforhockey.org.au.
