PLAYER NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR WOMEN’S MASTERS NATIONALS

JOIN MASTERS AT NATIONALS!
Nominations are now open for Women’s Masters players to represent the ACT at the 2024 National Masters Women’s Championship. The competition will be played in Sydney from Friday 28th June to Saturday 6th July 2024 and is open to players aged 34 and over.
Players wishing to nominate are required to attend trials, Freda Bennett Carnival or to send a video of recent hockey play. To nominate for selection in a team, please complete the player nomination form here and pay the $50 nomination fee by 1st February 2024.
Information regarding trials is as below, any updates can be found on the Women's Masters website.

| Ages 50 - 70+ | Sunday 11th February | 9:30am - 11am | National Hockey Centre, Lyneham |
The age groups sent will be dependent on the number of nominations received and confirmed player commitment by 1st February 2024. Six teams in age groups from 34 – 70+ were sent to Nationals in 2023.
Age groups sent will be selected based on:
- ACT Women’s Masters Selection Policy and Process
- Hockey ACT Representative Player Eligibility Policy (This includes players from all HACT affiliated associations)
- Hockey Australia Masters National Championships policies and rules.
- It is important to note that players will be selected in their ‘correct’ age groups if ACT are placing a team in that age division.
