Reconciliation Advisory Committee - Seeking Members

RECONCILIATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE - SEEKING MEMBERS

Hockey ACT are proud to be working in conjunction with Hockey Australia (HA) towards supporting and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community.

Hockey ACT have established a Reconciliation Advisory Committee (RAC) with the following objectives:

• Provide advice and support in guiding HACT’s position in the Hockey Australia Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) working group.

• Establishing the inaugural Reconciliation Round in 2022

• Ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their achievements are celebrated in our community.

• Fostering education and awareness around the culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Hockey ACT are seeking members to join the group who would report back to Hockey ACT. We would propose a meeting once a month to discuss and develop workable objectives to assist Hockey ACT in reporting to the HA reference group and developing initiatives in our community.
